All tests on mypretest.com are through a pop which opens a new Window. Therefore you need to disable your browser’s Pop-Up blocker. In case you do not know how to do it… follow these steps : |

- Click on the link with the control key, your Pop-Up blocker will be disable for that event only.

- Click the “Pop-Up blocked” on the Google toolbar to disable Pop-Up blocker, Now it will be shown as “Pop-Up okay”.

In this case you need to ensure that you do not have any Monitoring or Pop-Up blocker services active on your computer. For example if you have Ad-Watch, then you need to right click and turn “Monitoring” to “Off”. Similarly ensure that you do not have any other such 3rd party Pop-Up or Ad-Aware blockers active in your computer. |

Disable your pop-up blocker. The test is attempting to open a new window which your pop-up blocker is not allowing to happen. mypretest.com is a web site where the users can find on-line tests that are prepared by experts, that simulate an actual test environment and that give you a detailed performance analysis (like relative scores, average, section performance etc). |

- test feedback: you get graded against your peers across India/ World; you get section wise scores to help you analyze your performance
Besides the above 2, there are many points that help us differentiate, like: tests that focus on building overall competence in a particular test, each question is carefully graded to map against 3 levels of difficulty (easy, medium, hard) that would give an appropriate practice and application of concepts, use of graphics to illustrate solutions. |

How do I find out about the tests on offer? |

You can browse the available tests in 2 ways:
i. by picking the test area of your choice from the left band… e.g. IIT JEE; and you will get all information regarding how many tests we would provide for IIT JEE practice
ii. by clicking on Test Series from the top icon band; this would list out all the test, click on the test area of interest and find out more details. |

Are there any samples or demos? |
|
|
|
|

Each of the test areas provides a sample test. When you click on the subject or Grade or test of your choice you would be taken to the product page where you will see icons for Demo, Author and Buy. Click on the Demo to test yourself against a sample. The performance in your sample test also helps determine a scholarship/ discount if you buy the full test series corresponding to the sample. |

How do I buy tests? |

You can buy the tests using a credit card, debit card or a PayPal account. In case you are in India, you also have the option of paying by cheque. And in case you are in Delhi NCR you can visit our office to make your direct payment. Tests would be activated only once the payment is received in our accounts. It is usually around 24 hours in case of credit cards, 3-4 days in case of cheques and immediate in case of drafts/ banker’s cheques. |

Do I need to sign-up to take a demo test? |
|

|
|

All demo tests are accessible at any point for you to test. However you will need to sign-up for a FREE account before you become eligible to buy any tests. |

What is the Account? |

Account stores all your personal information, the tests bought by you, your test scores, your test reports and your Wallet information. The account is comprehensive and will give you a history of all your purchases with mypretest.com. |

What is Wallet? |

Wallet is an on-line feature that helps us reward you. In case you refer any of your friends, we will give you 5% cash back on the 1st purchase made by your friend. Keep on referring your friends and we will keep on adding to your Wallet. You can use your Wallet amount in two ways:
- While buying a test series in the future we will adjust this Wallet amount in your bill
Once you reach Rs.1000/- or $25, you will have the option to cash out. We can pay you the money via cheque (for India only) or PayPal (any where in the World). |

How do I ensure that I get cash back in case my friend enrolls? |

You need to ensure that your friend or referral enters your email address correcting while signing up with us. In case your email address is wrong, we will not be able to credit you for the cash back |

Our products are priced in a way that they are affordable for all. If you buy more than one test from us, we will give you a discount of 25% on your future purchases. However this offer is subject to change by the management and no disputes will then be introduced. |

In case you tried paying once and you were rejected for some reason or in case you changed your mode of payment, sometimes Internet Explorer treats it as a duplicate order. This feature is provided for your protection. The way out now is for you to close your Internet Explorer, start a new Internet Explorer window and get to the web site, select the product that you want to buy and then checkout again. To avoid this issue, we suggest that you Checkout smoothly with the payment option of your choice. |

I paid up but I do not see the tests |

It usually takes anywhere between 6 to 24 hours for the credit card company to send us your on-line confirmation. As soon as we get that confirmation, our system automatically activates your tests. Once this happens an email will be sent to you or you can keep checking your account. |

Where do I see the tests that I bought? |
|
|

Once the tests are activated, you can go to the “Account” tab and then click on “My Tests”. All activated, new and old tests would appear in this section. Usually it takes 6-24 hours for a test to get activated once you make the full payment. |

How do I see my old and present transactions? |

|

mypretest.com maintains a log of all your purchases for one year. You can go to “Account” and then “History” to track all your transactions. The tests that you have paid for and are not activated will appear separately. |

Do I get a feedback report for the tests? |
|

Each of the tests you take generates a test report. You are allowed 3 attempts at each test, however only your latest attempt is stored. Go to “Account” and then “Test Reports” to view all your tests against which there will be respective hyperlinks to reports. |

What kind of test reports/ feedback do I get? |
|
|
|
|
| |
There are 2 kinds of reports:
- Your performance: This will be a comprehensive test report. It gives an explanation to every question, correct choice, your attempt to each question. Also available is a summary report in terms of questions attempted, wrong and right. Also available would be an analysis like the type of question (e.g. in Math was it Geometry or Algebra…). This is a personalized report and will give your performance details only.
- Comparative performance: This report will pick your test performance and compare it with other students who took the same test. Statistics like median score, your percentile, number of students who took the test would be available for you to understand your performance with respect to others.
Note: All scores correspond to your last attempt only. In case you took a test more than once, your old scores get over-written by the new scores. |

Why do I see only one kind of a test report against some of the tests? |
|

The “Comparative Performance” report is available only for the full length or the final tests or the test simulations. It is not available for practice or subject tests. |

What is a percentile score? |
|
|
|
|
| |
A percentile score gives the percentage of test takers/ students above or below you. For example if your percentile score is 98 then there are 2% students above you and approximately 97 percentile students below you. A percentile is a relative comparative statistics and approximates to the nearest Integer. |

What is a median score? |
|
|
|
|
| |
A median score is the middle score out of all the test takers at that time and gives you an idea how far are you from the middle score. |

Why does my Comparative Performance report change after every few days? |
|
|
|
|
| |
The Comparative Performance report is based on your performance in comparison to the performance of other test takers/ students. As the number of students/ test takers keeps on increasing, your performance will therefore keep changing as it will always be compared with the student performance at the time you view the report. The benefit of this is that you are not dependent on others to take the test. You might be the first one to have written the test, and as others keep on writing the test your performance keeps on getting adjusted accordingly.
